Absolutely wonderful!

Carmen was in on the cruise ship and took a tour - she was very pleased!

Having been to Mexico many times but never making it to see any of the ruins, my friend and I decided to finally go see some. After reading about William Lawson Tours on this website, we decided to book with them. The entire process was good and stress free, thanks to Adriana. I gave her some basic things we wanted to do (ruins, cenote, cultural Merida) and left the rest up to them. Upon arriving at the bus terminal in Progreso, we found our tour guide, David, waiting for us. The first stop he took us to was Dzibilchatun. David was very knowledgeable about these ruins and we very much enjoyed seeing them. It was hot hot hot though with not much shade so be sure to bring sunscreen and a hat if you go. After seeing the ruins, we were able to swim in a pretty cenote and have a free pedicure by the little fishies. haha Following this we drove approximately 30 minutes into Merida. Our wish was to have a cultural tour and see the “real” city. David took us to the most awesome taco place right on a street corner where we had the most delicious tacos with our choosing of fillings. I still dream about those tacos! Next we went into the center of old town Merida, parked, and embarked on a walking tour of the area. We enjoyed very much hearing about the history and culture of the buildings and things that happened there many many years ago. After the tour we stopped for some great sorbet. I forget what I had but it had raisins it—absolutely wonderful! I would most definitely recommend this tour company. It may have been a tad bit pricier than other excursions that can be booked, but for just two people and all we got to see, it was well worth it! David was very knowledgeable, professional, and entertaining. We loved it!
